Frequently asked questions

How do I chase a late invoice politely in Singapore?

Start early and stay consistent. Send a friendly heads-up a few days before the due date, a simple reminder on the day, then polite follow-ups at 7 and 14 days late. Keep each message short, with the invoice number, amount, due date and how to pay.

My accounting software already sends reminders. Why use Seikumi?

Seikumi's reminders are written in your own words and tone and come from your own email, so they read like you wrote them. You approve every one before it goes. You also get a weekly overdue report, and invoices 30 or more days late are flagged for you to call.

When should I call instead of sending another email?

Once an invoice is more than 30 days late, another email rarely helps. A short, friendly phone call is usually the better next step.

What does Seikumi do?

Seikumi sets up a payment reminder system for your business. Each morning, that day's reminders are prepared as ready-to-send drafts in your own email, in your name. You review them and press send. You also get a weekly overdue report and a monthly summary.

Does Seikumi contact my clients or collect money?

No. Seikumi never contacts your clients and never handles money. Every reminder goes out from your own email, only when you press send. Seikumi is not a debt collection agency.

What is the reminder schedule?

3 days before the due date, on the due date, 7 days late and 14 days late. At 30 or more days late, reminders stop and the invoice is flagged for you to call.

How much does Seikumi cost?

Essentials is S$150/month for any number of invoices. Setup is included, there is no setup fee, and you can cancel anytime.

Is there a founding client offer?

Yes. Founding clients get their first month free from go-live, and are live within 48 hours.

What happens to my invoice data?

Your invoice data is used only to prepare your reminders, and we delete it if you ask.

Do you offer a fully managed service?

A Managed plan is coming soon. Ask to join the waitlist at hello@seikumi.com.
